    Default Pymie report 5-28

Well took the trip up to the lake today with my dad. We fished the causeway, it was a little slow at first then around 9:00 am the bite started and was pretty constant until the wind died. We ended our trip with 32,most were in the range of 11 to 13 inches. Most were caught on minnows with a few caught on jigs. I have one question ,do the black crappie spawn later than the whites. Just asking because we caught more whites today. Any input would be appreciated .

    Thanks mark

The black crappies will spawn before the whites as they prefer a little cooler water. You'll still catch some spawning even when the whites are getting started tho.
