Action tail minnow vs BG baby shad

Was browsing around on the Cabelas website looking for some new baits and found these. At only $1.88 a pack, i ordered some. I already have some of the Bobby garland baby shads so i compared them to check out the difference. Very little diffrence in them. The BG has a little wider body, but not enuff to really notice. I'm going to fish them side by side, first chance i get and i'll post results. The minnow has all the colors i use too. You can check them out here.

I just started using some of the Bobby Garland soft plastics last year. Would you say that you normally fish them bare, or tipped with a minnow / scent wiggler? They seemed awful large to me at first, but they worked... and produced fish.

I was even catching walleye on them last year.
