    Default fishing line

If there wasn't but one name brand of fishing line on the market, what would be the brand of choice for all around fishing regardless of poundage?

Bass Pro Excel. If I Could Only Use 1 Line For Everything Then Thats What It Would Be Hands Down.

izorline xxx. 6lb test and 2000+ yards for about $15. Soft, strong, limp and abrasion resistant. A close second would be Yozuri Hybrid Ultrasoft. I've used about 30 other lines and feel this line is one of the best bang for your buck. What other line stays limp and doesnt yoyo out of your spool in 15 degree cold weather?

Tcain. Welcome from Alabama. For me, it would be spiderwire #4 pound for panfishing.
