Called for rain / drizzle ,etc all day today so didn`t go fishin........... didn`t rain a drop ! next time loading up the rain gear and goin anyway !
Fished the Chowan Saturday, cold ! went up one of the creeks caught one small crappie , no gils , not even bean size
Fished the mouth of another creek and landed enough small catfish ( blue channel)for todays supper, mmmmmmmmmmm good , think we will target them til it warms up and the gils start biting.......
Anybody catching gils in the rivers? envy those of you that fish the Suffolk lakes
