    Default Ms redear

Caught 27 redear wednesday and 21 friday fishing tight line with worms. I started out fishing for crappie and absolutly could not even buy a bite. Caught one redear while looking for the crappie and just change tactics and wound up with a nice mess of fish. I set my max length at 8 to 9 inchs so I can get some good fillets. Wife wants to keep everything she catches but I just do not like cleaning the dinks. Best week fishing in a while. Someday I will have to get grandkids to show me how to post pictures.

Fishing private lake and yes they did make some mighty fine eating. Had several that went 10 and over inches and all were really fat and heavy, no dinks.

Did some pond fishing a couple of weeks ago and caught some very nice ears, don't know how to post pics on this thing so you guys will just have to believe me when i tell you this.

Caught 17 redears that were 10-11 inches long and 5 inches wide as God as my witness i ain't lying. That was one great day catching those bomb shells.

Ounce for ounce you can't beat gill fishing.

    limbhook'
I believe ya. right now is prime time for ears on many bodies of water. and yes they are bombshells, at 1 1/2 lbs. I have seen them break 8 lb. line up next to the boat. beat me with that stick!
