7 1\2 inches or so & it was my first one caught this year. Rio Grande cichlid or Texas cichlid as there called in TX being that I live in Austin TX. Released back into the water to live another day!

12" Bruiser Bluegill....biggest I've seen caught with my own eyes. This is my brother's fish and he has huge hands. Well over a pound!

Nice fish everyone. Had a couple BG over 10" while bass fishing with a squarebill the other day. No camera of course :(
You know its a BG when they start doin what I call "the crazy Ivan"
Red ear in my Virginia waters have no red on the ear either.
