    2nd the Improved Clinch Knot. You could try a Palomar but you'd eat up your tippet length doing it unless you're just using mono for your tippet.

    Thanks For The Responses, I Know That Most Of The Jig Fishermen Say A Loop Knot Is Better For The Jig Presentation But I Didn't Know If It Was The Same For Flies.

    i pretty much use a palomar for everything. tippet is cheap and i keep alot of it on hand. after a few fish and nicks and scraps not worth risking loosing a nice one over.
