Default Broke out the long pole yesterday ...

... and had a fun day. I got about 75 fish in total, including 4 crappie, 4 rainbow trout, and 3 yellow bass. The rest were all gills. All fish came on maggots fished under a light float.

None of the fish were big, but it was fun to be outside watching the float go down.

At a boy disco! I like to hear those kind of reports. I'll be on Lake Talquin tomorrow morning and I have a little shore lunch fish fry lined up with my buddies around noon.

This is a Yellow Bass :

Looks alot like a White Bass or Hybrid Striper, but is a totally seperate species. Shape is more like a White Bass - broken stripes like a Hybrid Striper ... but, sides and lower body is yellow in color, not white like the WB or HS. Don't get very big, normally.

It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D
