I want to tie some jigs for bream , what would be some good color combo's ?

Anything that you tie, regardless of color, as long as it looks like a bug or small minnow .... is gonna be killer
I don't think Sunfish are near as color conscious as Crappie sometimes get ... so I'd use whatever colors I had the most of, that I used the least for Crappie jigs :p
One of the best "bream" jigs, I've used, are Pop-Eyes by Cabin Creek .... white head, blk eye, red thread, blk feathers. Tipped with a wax worm, and fished under a float, along the rock cliffs of a local lake ... this bait has done very well on Bluegill & other Sunfish, Channel Catfish, and even the occasional Largemouth & KY Spotted Basses![]()
Just go crazy with your color combos :D ... you just never know when you'll hit on that "one"

White head/red thread/black feathers. I have been have good luck tiping them with white "crappie nibbles".
I get almost as many gills as crappie with 1.5" tubes - in whatever color I happen to be using. They don't seem to be too finicky.
Same here joe.Seems like every gill I catch on a tube is a goodun.
I have a whole lot of luck on the black and chartreuse curly tail grub with red flakes in it. The swimming tail minnow from BP is also a good choice.
Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
They seem to like either solid black or brown w/black flakes in 1.5" grub around here also.
Fished a farm pond Thursday and kept 13 for supper, that i got on a Black Calf Tail jig with a Pink head, and No Meat on the jig.
I like All Black ''My Favorite'' charetreuse is good and so is orange. When i tie gill jigs i try and keep it simple.
I like a hot orange/coffee brown/yellow chenille jig. Also, buggy looking colors like olives, blacks, tans, ect will do good. Nothing wrong with bright jigs either, depending on the water clarity.
