    that looks like a little piece of paradise. nice looking pond there rev. i assume you keep the salt water species in the "concrete pond".

    Purty things ain't they?I also saw the Dirty Jobs show on those and now my wife won't buy them anymore. They sure are good eatin though.I also hear that they are native to Mexico lakes and thats what those big ole bass down there feed on.

    Hey I just wanted to mention that there is another Cichlid member that lives out west. Texas, Arizona, Cali.....its the Texas Cichlid, or Rio Grande perch. Looks very similar to the Tilapia.

    Excellent eating, They are vegatarians... Best way to catch them is with small piece of cucumber on a hook.
