Find new lure design are a challenge

It gave me an idea: pull strands though a plastic lure using a fine wire with loop at the end.

The above was made attaching small tube bodies together after removing the skirts. The pill design has worked great since I discovered it last year along with other similar shapes rigged on light jigs. The quivering strands should get some great strikes worked mid depth considering how supersensitive fish are to finesse action.

I used to make plastic bodies just like that when I was a teenager back in the early to mid 70s, caught a lot of bluegill in them.
