Seems someone is always asking about small baits but I never see any reference to Moondog bait company. I am in no way affiliated with them and they are not a site sponsor but I have and do use some of their baits. There’s some good lookin baits in that mix. Only problem is that I have more plastics than three people can use. I hope someone gets those molds if they do go out of business.

The 1” split tail minnow under a float works good on a 1/64 jig with a #8 or #10 hook. Also use a crappie nibble most times. Will catch gills and crappie in our local smaller lakes.
