P-line Floroclear is one the stronger 2# lines . I’ve landed some big fish using it , if I have place to beach the fish . My net is 4’ and seems too short almost every time I have it with me , so it stays in the car most of the time .
I buy my P line from FishUSA.com . Amazon no longer carries the 2# in the large spool .
2# Floroclear breaks about 2.25# P line is made in Japan

The best casting 2# I’ve found , for throwing tiny jigs is Ande Tournament yellow . The fish don’t seem to mind the bright color and it helps tying knots . I buy it directly from Ande . The Ande Tournament breaks around 1.75# . Ande is made in Germany .
They also make it in green .

Favorite 2# is Maxima ultragreen but have been using my old favorite 2# Trilene XL a lot more lately and is as good as ever. SOS line is another good one. Have a big spool of 2# Izorline that get's a lot of use and is very nice and and not expensive.

2# Gamma panfish for castability and strength. Breaks at about 4.5lb. but is smaill diameter, low memory and casts good. Best American brand I've used but if your wanting something truely close to 2lb take a look at Varvias 3lb. twitch master. Scott
