I’m still adjusting to the new water but getting better. I’m still not finding the size I’m looking for but getting better. I went this morning to fish about four hours and come home. I had found some fish last time out but they weren’t home today. I kept on the bank. And was lucky enough to find a good bed ( I think) and didn’t move while I boated at least 25 gills and longears mixed. Some of the gills were as good as I’ve seen since I got here. The last stop got me more small bass, both kinds, than anywhere else today. Big bass today was maybe 9” and all of them were acrobats. Near time to go I found a couple of redears, one gave a good fight, like he knew me. Clouds kept the heat at bay a lot and made it easier than last trip. A good time, hope y’all get out soon. Here’s the pics….

Those gills and crackers are fun size and willing to bite. Gills here seem to be starting round 2 of the spawn and moving back to the spawning areas. They are warm to the touch.

Is that a deer and her baby drinking water in the 2nd picture? To me, that is the kind of things you miss if you are just staring at a screen all day! Thanks for sharing!
