    Default Weekly Meetup 6-03-25

Finally , I was able to meetup with my fishing buddy and we fought the wind to catch some 4-6” gills and a nice UL 2# test green fish .
I fished one rod all day , a 5’2” SeaSir Stream ULF paired with my Soare XR 500 and Ande 2# Tournament line . A 4mm Tungsten micro jig in dark olive was used most of the time .
I ended up with 48 , my buddy had 26 including the nice bass he caught using a 1” curly tail.
I only lost one jig today . I blamed it on the wind blowing my jig into a tree .
    A fun four hours ,

Those are good numbers. Sam and I went today and e did OK for not having been there in a lot of years. I got 3 juvenile smallmouth and one about 11” or so. Acrobat, drag noise, run around trying to keep him from the motors and such. Great fun. Glad y’all did so well.

Great numbers day with bonus bass to make things interesting. Nice trip despite the windy conditions.

I actually take a picture of each fish I catch , unless one squirms and flops off while I’m try to take a picture.
I stopped trying to keep up with the count in my head but my brain doesn’t work as good as it used to.

Get a fish counter that you can hang on your belt or mount beside you. I used to try to keep count but its a whole lot easier tapping a button and letting counter keep track plus its quicker then trying to take pics. Nice numbers by the way.
You can get the counters for like 5.00 pl a few bucks to ship.
