Rain cut short trip

I dropped off my wife at the hairdresser and took off to the lake trying to beat the rain.
I’m including two pictures of the lake .
One is when I first got there , it was drizzling, and the other was less than 15 minutes later . The bottom had dropped out.
I got to fish less than ten minutes and my rain jacket was soaking through before I made it to the car .
But I didn’t get skunked !
I caught a couple of micro warmouths . Pretty fish .
I’m tired of all this rain . It’s almost June !

Rainy day blues, this year more so than other years. Gotten wet several times this year myself. Still nice getting out and doing what we love no matter what the weather is giving us.

Kind of a hit em and run trip. Glad you got out, gave mama time to get done. Pretty little fellers you got for your troubles, worth the trip.
