Been Awhile , Town Pond Visit

It had been awhile since I paid a visit to the Town Pond .
After the recent rain , the water looked pretty good .
Had a few minutes this afternoon and decided to go there since it is the closest fishable water to me .
I took two combos but spent most the forty five minutes using my 6’ TFO Trout and Panfish II paired with an inexpensive Shimano Sienna 500 I spent a little time lubing it yesterday .
The little reel performed great . The drag is sweet .
I caught seventeen gills and a small largemouth while throw a dark olive micro Tungsten jig .
That’s just under three minutes per fish . I’ll take that any day
Some of the gills were nice ones . Biggest I’ve caught in awhile .
