Spooling 2lb test lol
Everyone knows the pain !!
Both Daiwa's have arrived 1000, and 2000.
And on a whim, I got the kastking spooler..
Can not seem to get it "loose" enough.. line went on TIGHT. Not sure if i want to keep it or return to amazon... I think lines 6 lbs and up will be a better experience. Used a old Ugly stick bottom half to load the JDM Dawia 2000. Spinning. (so, never throw away a broken rod). Kastking will no way fit an Ultralight like the Daiwa rod.
Have the older skool ? Berkley spooler. It has it's own "problems". I know it will just let the line come off the spool, without the spool turning, for a spinning configuration, is my thought.
Might be abrasive to the line as it comes off the edge of the plastic spool.
Maybe, maybe not. have not tried it for ultralight.
I put Trilene 2lb Sensation on the 2000 Legalis. Nothing yet on the 1000, but I have 8x Spro for it. Waiting for the MasterCraft Rod to arrive.
As all of you know... handling and tying knots on this kind of line..... BWAHAHA. Yeah. Right. I gave up on the Arbor knot.... tied something that holds... no clue. hahah.
Any advice on a spooler for these 4lb and less lines is appreciated.
