A Merry Christmas Morning

Slept in a bit this morning and Mom and I shared coffee and presents. A relaxed time and it was about 9 and the weather was absolutely wonderful. You know what started running through my mind. About that time I got a text from NiNo and he was already out. That was enough to put me over the edge and I loaded up and headed out. It was like I had put in a reservation cuz we had the place all to ourselves. 1 other trailer in the lot and he was headed in as I was headed out. A very low wind out of the North didn’t get up to gentle wind until I was putting it on the trailer. The bite wasn’t hot but I got enough visitors to make the time out interesting. I put in about 9:30 and pulled about 12 with NiNo by my side. He had tried trolling and switched over to casting in some areas close to me. I boated a mixed bag of crappie, Warmouth and bluegill, some of which were table worthy. As usual, they’re all still there. On this day we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior I was given a gift that no bow could fit on. I said a small prayer of thanks before I packed up, rightly so. I hope that you’ve all had as great a day as mine has begun. Til next installment…….Skeet

I see I had company out there today , but we just had a little distance between us .
Pretty fish !
We have family due in in a couple of days and we’ll have our formal celebration then .
This time of year we have to take advantage of opportunities when we get the chance.
