Thanksgiving day short trip

I’m very thankful to have a pond less than ten minutes away from my house .
And thankful for a wife that understands my passion.

I got to fish a little over an hour this morning while my wife was preparing Thanksgiving lunch .

I took my 6’ TFO Trout & Panfish II paired with a KastKing SFS 1000 II reel , with Daiwa braid . The carbon rod was more sensitive than the glass rods I’d been fishing lately and the sensitivity was needed with the wind .

The rain came through earlier this morning and behind the front was the wind .

I caught four fish , two bluegills, and two shellcracker, two twitching with a 4.6mm bead tungsten jig and mini Trout Magnet , that cast pretty good with the TFO .
The other two , I caught using a float .
The twitching fish were caught on my first two casts , before the stronger wind arrived .
