Default Micro fish on a Micro Rod

I picked up my brother and took him to the WMA (Wildlife Management Area) shooting range this morning.
After shooting a couple hours, we had a snack lunch and I got to fish for a short while .

I took my 3’8” Major Craft Finetail Glass spinning rod paired with a 500 size Piscifun Carbon X . A super lightweight combo , spooled with Daiwa J-braid X-8 and a 4# Floroclear.

I tied on a tiny 3mm Tungsten beadhead jig in dark olive .
I set my watch for thirty minutes, with a hope of catching ten fish in 30 minutes. At 28 minutes I had my ten and went for a dozen . It took right at 32 minutes .

The Big Lazer Public Fishing Area (PFA) lake that had been low and on the verge of stagnation got a good flushing with the storm that came through and now the lake is at full pool and clear .

Eleven of the dozen were redbreast , only one small bluegill.
Beautiful Colors and a pan energetic fight made up for the small size.

The little rod was a blast with the redbreast .
