    Default Creek Fishing (part 2)

After leaving Line creek this morning I drove about twenty minutes to Starr’s Mill park and fished the creek below the dam and mill , for about twenty five minutes.
Very low water , I didn’t expect much , but after driving the extra way decided to throw a few casts and I’m glad I did .
I caught two redbreast , two gills , and a couple of small shellcracker that straightened the kinks out of my braid .
The sun was hot and Very little shade .

Some beautiful fish. Also got to love the aesthetics of the rod. Those maple reel seats are great.

    Regards

The 4’10” MC Finetail Glass is becoming one of my favorites if not my favorite rod .
I probably wouldn’t have ordered one without your video on the one you bought . Thanks for your review
I’ve always had a love of fiberglass rods , but the new glass rods are something special.
I feel like they’re a bridge between old glass and new graphite rods .
Definitely have a unique feel that I like .
Combined with a quality braid , they’re still sensitive enough for jig fishing
And they’re some of the prettiest rods I own .
I have the 3’8” version on order and after my creek trip , I ordered another 410 .

    Thanks for the suggestion.
I’ve been a subscriber to John’s YouTube channel back before he went full time.
He’s branched out into kayak bass tournaments, but occasionally goes back to his roots and puts out a creek fishing video.
