    Default City park fishing

I got out to fish a city park lake for bass. Was slow early and first three bites ended early as the bass were throwing my plastic worm on the jump. Started to smell a skunk but bite #4 took care of that with a chunky one close to 4#. In the next hour I was up to 8 bass before I missed a good one. Caught two more later to finish with ten. These fish were on fire with the cooler water temps, wish my son was with me because these fish were jumping big time. Got as many as seven jumps and all jumped at least a couple times.Name: IMG_5422.jpg

Sounds enjoyable. It's exciting when they jump. Thanks for sharing.

Nice Bass Jim. I’ve also got thoughts on trying my hand with a plastic worm again, been about 15 years. They sure fight good.

This lake is five minutes from home and has some nice bass in it despite heavy fishing pressure. Average about 4-5 bass in a few hours for the past month. I like fishing for everything but it's my best chance at bigger fish this time of year.
