Good day to get the boat started Randy.
Are there no Lake Lice AKA wake boats on your lake. On my lake the turbulence produced will erase beds as soon as they quit working them. I occasionally fish an electric only lake and there like you describe I can see beds from last year in the middle of the winter. Congrats on the new boat for those of us who are truly afflicted I GET the feeling. Scott
This particular lake is only 250 acres. No lake live that I’ve seen. Pretty laid back place as from what I’ve seen the past year. Still trying to figure it out. The lake is obviously loaded with shell cracker and crappie. But I should have seen a whole lot more bedding areas. Now I have not scanned the whole lake thoroughly but I should have found a lot more beds. Not too many bluegill in the lake though. While I love my new boat I must admit I miss the stick steer. Trying to figure out how I could get sonar on the front and use the mega si transducer in the trolling motor. I’m
Sure the power cable could be run from the back. I was thinking about getting just a Helix mount and switch the sonar unit back and forth. But that would get to be a pain. Sure hate to spend 1400$ for another unit for the front. A stick steer does have its advantages for sure. Couldn’t buy a bite from all those crappie. I know they can get like that but sure was a whole lot of em.

Won't be long and those fish will hear the theme to JAWS everytime you launch your boat.
Congrats on breaking in the new boat. She sure is a beauty. I am not any good with electronics but I have seen something on here where you could take a tablet and sync it to the other unit. Not sure if this would help in your case or not.

I’ve been kinda busy Randy and I missed this post. Real glad to hear that you got some time out in it and things went well. Your wife would love a ride on this river I’m close to. Lots of Eagles and owls and all kinds of wading birds. Sounds like a Tarzan movie in the warmer months. Congrats on a successful sliming. I’m waiting for a video of you smackin fish left and right.
Very glad to see you out on the water. Enjoy the new ride.
