10-03-23 Weekly Meet Up

We met up this morning at a boat ramp on the lower end of the lake .
This ramp is located on a point and usually has a good wind blowing across .
Today it was no different, but with the water level continuing to drop , this ramp has more cover than most of the other ramps .
The water clarity is better here too.
Fishing today with my Abu Garcia MB3’s , one with a Shimano Soare BB c2000sspg , a Soare XR 500SPG and a Daiwa Fuego LT1000d , all with 3# Floroclear.
My hand tied jigs were all I used today , my fishing buddy , fished with his 5’9” 2wt flyrod and an UL rod combo with Roostertails .
I ended up with forty total including several green sunfish , some beautiful hybrid gills , and three bass , one a nice UL fun size spotted bass .
My buddy ended up with thirty , his biggest being a nice shellcracker.
Great day of fishing, even with having to deal with the wind .
