40 minutes 4 Shellcracker

Another short trip to the Town Pond while waiting on my wife at her aquatic therapy.
Weather was nice but breezy. Which made casting and feeling a micro jig tough .
I was getting around a forty foot cast but that proved to be enough .
Traveling light , I only took my Abu Garcia MB3L and Shimano Soare XR 500spg that already had a micro jig on it from the other day . A size 10 black sickle hook with black rabbit fur tail and black chenille.
It didn’t take long to hook up with a nice shellcracker.
I caught four shellcrackers before I caught a nice bluegill, then two smaller gills before time was up .
Sometimes I think I do better under pressure.
