Catching bream in cold weather from the bank?

Can it be done? I don't really catch bream until about May usually.

Some of my best days are in November, December and January. I've usually got the lake to myself and the fish are still there. I almost always fish from the bank with floats, light line, small hooks and maggots. I'm sure I sound like a broken record, but it works.

ive caught bream all year round
not a consistant decent size
but i usually start catching bigger ones trolling in late march
