Awesome meet up today

72 degrees on January 2nd , I’ll take that anytime.
Partly to most sunny , light winds .
Water temperature according to my Lazer thermometer was 61.4 degrees .
All that means FISH !
I met up with my fishing buddy around 11:30 and we left at 4:00pm .m
I fished my seven foot 13 Fishing Defy Silver UL rod paired with a Shimano Sahara 500 and 3# line .
My buddy caught a total of nine green sunfish and bass .
I caught seven green sunfish , three warmouth, a LM bass , two spotted bass , and one little guy , I’m not sure what it is . Shape and mouth of a warmouth , but the striped don’t look like a warmouth . I also loss three spotted bass after hooking and playing them for several minutes. One I had on for about five minutes of drag screaming runs before the the tiny jig released less than ten feet from me . What a blast !
One small LM was caught on a little crankbait , everything else on small jigs with Bobby Garland Itty Bitty Swim’R .
I’ll try to post a pic of the odd one first .
