Weather prediction was for the sun to make an appearance around 11 this morning.
I got to the Town pond around 10:30 and it was overcast and 49 degrees . The wind didn’t help , although it wasn’t a constant wind , when it blew , it felt like 39 degrees .
I was determined and hopeful the sun would could out and the fishing would improve over yesterday.
Well , the sun peeked out around noon for less than two minutes and again the last five minutes before I left at 12:30 . The time I should’ve been arriving, but if you want to fish you go when you can .
I took my St Croix 6’6” light action Premier paired with a 1000 Daiwa Fuego LT .
I fished a trout magnet under a float for 95% of the time and caught one shellcracker, one small bluegill and one small bass about 11-12” .
Better than yesterday .
