    Thanks, he did have a blast. Those were actually caught out of a public lake so I don't know what they have been feeding on. We usually catch redears about 9-10 inches but not a one yesterday. I'm assuming they have moved a little deeper out. The top board is a 1 X 8. They were all good sized. This is about the 3rd time this year we have had a catch at the same lake. It's easier going fishing now than before I was married. Now it's quality bonding time...hehe. Actually it is. He won't let me go alone and that's ok with me, especially now that he is starting to get them in himself. Didn't have the camera on the boat. He also caught 3 channel cats with the largest at 6 pounds. He did need a little help getting that one in the boat. Fun day.
