    Default good day bream fishing

Went fishing at the SHERRON HARRIS POWER PLANT lake Thursday 7-26-07.
Got the boat on the water by 7:00 AM and left at2:00 PM.
The damn fish wouldn’t quit biting so I would have an excuse to quit fishing and go home so I just had to say to myself that it was time to go.
I was using a 6 ½ foot trout fly rod with a white top water bug with rubber legs.
I have a counter mounted on the lid of a 6 or 7 gallon pail. Every time I throw a fish in I strike the counter one time. If you can’t make out the numbers on the counter, it shows 12 and ½ dozen. (150)

Most were males and were caught off the beds. The colors of the males were a bright reddish breast to a bright orange. The females were quite a bit smaller. I did not weight nor measure any of the fish, as I was to busy catching them.

I sure hope you cleaned them first and buried the heads and guts. This is what the Indians did. They did not waste much of anything. You defintely had some good eating fish there, hope you didn't waste them.
