An awesome batch of mix catches there Sir. I love the color of the sunfish in the 6th pictures. I've been wondering why not too many of the other species of panfish are being caught regularly, especially the this red breasted beauty, pumkinseed, orange breasted and the long eared sunfish. Are they harder to target or just not abundant enough. I would love to see folks who catch them in their neck of the woods will share photos here. Thanks for taking us out with you, Skeet!

Glad you got out, to do something you love. Keeping moving is key to staying on track. Get those treatments done and fish on.

Thanks for the update, skeet. You’re on the homestretch right now for treatments, and it sounds like it is doing what it should!

Lipping a gar Is like lipping a Northern Pike. Always funny when someone else does it. Little things matter. Keep making memories.

LVSpin, if those red breasted fish grew to 10” or more they’d have a cult following! Every one of them tries to steal your rod. Thinking you have a big fish and he’s 7” and pulled drag. I don’t know how to target them in particular but did catch them on the beds once, that was fun. Fish after fish on jigs and anchored up. Thanks for all the comments and support folks, I sure appreciate it.

God is good all the time. I am thankful you were feeling better and able to get out for a little while. I enjoyed reading your report my friend. Never give up on your dreams. Richard Gene the Fishin Machine always says "Go fishin when ya can cause it's good fer ya!" I am a believer of his sayin. Take care of yourself my friend.
