one of my most favorite things to hunt is bullfrogs , used to rod and reel them doggies with a crappie jig back in the day , a big one will in fact whip you hard and even bend out big crappie jig when it's hooked .Quote:

gigging them at night is the way to go and even though not many know of frogs that grow to the size of a young cottontail , I used to ketch a fair number of them in that size range back when , sure looked silly though with one leg of pantyhose hanging from your belt loop with a 3 or 4 BIG bullfrogs in it still kicking ,,,,they are really hard to dispatch totally , this is fact .

my nanny loved frog legs and catfish and our little spot in the woods sure had bunches of both , man that ole creek was fun to play in, just never knew for sure what would get on your line in them waters .....:highfive
