Here is the deal. Crappie.Com is NO PLACE to discuss politics as stated in the site rules. Please respect it and take political discussions to other fishing forums that allow it. It dominates discussions in stores, gas stations, restaurants, families, friends and TV and speaking for me this site is a respite from the daily going on in our country. Just respect the site rules please that’s all the Mods ask.

Nice post buckeye. I don’t do political, religious or discuss my financial status. I like to fish but my carpal syndrome has both hands shut down my fishing or about anything else but surgery end of month should fix me up.

If you owned a business, and a candidate for local office asked to hang a sign on your lawn…..you would be an idiot to do so. Half the people will not remember that you were supportive of their candidate, but the other half, the other party people, will easily recall that you were. I know you didn’t, Ketchn. We have a not in writing rule at my model airplane club that simply says, “Our unwritten rule is no religion or politics”. Every member is told that before they join. You can’t believe how many problems that has avoided. As said, plenty of other places to go and vent.
