It’s a really neat board. I can see the numbers on it really good. If I weren’t concerned with space I would likely get the medium size but I clip that one on my backpack during the crappie spawn and it works out great.

I ordered the 16 in model. I've been looking at the boards at Cabelas the past couple months, I wanted something like the hawg trough but not that long, I looked at the aluminum golden rule type but they just didn't appeal to me. I also dislike styles that don't start at one. It's like they are judging me that smaller fish aren't worth measuring.
I watched a couple youtube videos on the boards, in one of them the guy added foam weatherstripping to the channel on the back to make it so it will float if it happens to go overboard. Looks like a quality product.
Now I’m jealous. That looks to be one of the prettiest places I’ve seen in a while. You two had a great day together and got some really nice fish. It all makes me miss some of the places I fished in TN, peaceful and away from other boats. Glad the trip was good and I’m thinking that it won’t be the last. Thanks for taking us along.

Skeet I know what you mean about peaceful. 90 acre lake and we pull up and we are by our lonesome. We did surprisingly see the game warden pull in the parking lot but he left us be. Did end up seeing two other boaters so 3 boats on a 90 acre electric only lake. Can’t really get much more peaceful :)
Looks to have been "just a great day all-around".
