Looks like you caught a bunch of rod benders, nice !
Those colors! Wow. Nice catches.
That was a great outing for you. I can’t get over how dark some of those pans are!
Bob
good to see that you found them. Makes me want to change up my gear and give the gills a try.
I tried to find some Sunday morning. The weather didn't cooperate very much.
Very nice Tim, I know you had a fun morning with those beautiful fish. I haven't been able to get out the last week. Too many health issues. Thanks for the post.

Wow, nice fish. I've never had the thrill of catching a coppernose bluegill - add it to the bucket list, I reckon!
Thanks for the comments, Bob and everyone. They’re funny sometimes in that when they lay on their side before I get em in the boat, some of the sides are more silver and the orange on their brisket/chest is more pronounced. By the time I take a pic they have the colors you see. I don’t understand it and can’t explain it but I’m sure I haven’t gone ‘round the bend cuz I’ve seen it several times. The barred markings are still there as can be seen in some. Regardless of all that, they fight like crazy and some you just have to put the rod tip in the air and wait for them to get it out of their system. Went again this morning with less results but it was quiet and I had the time. Here’s the pic of todays star. Thanks again everyone and I hope you get out soon.
