they are pretty for sure and bream killing machines as well .

Looks like the body is peacock herl, tail gold flashabou maybe? Legs are obvious. So, what weight head? 1/32-1/64...?

it is a tiny thing , 1/64 number 8 is possibly the size
it for sure aint larger than that ....
8 legs make it a spider though ,so it aint exactly an ant .....:Rofl

Nice looking jig, KETCHN. I can sure see that one producing some good hookups.

They tend to short take this type of offering ,so we always tip the jig with a tiny morsel to get them to hold on and eat it better.

Very nice looking jig. Is that the original color pattern of the jig or something tied up specific to Ketchn?

I can say you have a beautiful Ant. I used to catch big ol' red ear and long black ear on poppers and small shysters at Possum Kingdom before the fishery was ruined. Used to catch some big red ear at Benbrook by the dam accidently with a seine.

I didn't order them specifically colored , just asked for some of them and he sent several in different colors.
only have 2 left and they are twins , but it seems there might have been some orange brown versions in the mix as well ?

red ears were supposed to be in good numbers in marine creek lake over on 820 a while back according to the TPW fisheries folks , then for some odd reason poof they were gone ? they are some kind of rare in ft worth for sure , see one or 2 at the most per year .
