I caught some nice fish in Aurora, NC saturday. When I came home to clean them, i put a battery in my new rapala digital scale and weighed the biggest Bluegill and the biggest shellcracker. The shellcracker was 10 inches long and the bluegill was a little over 9 inches. Me and my dad just knew they weighed around a pound each. NOPE, the bluegill went 10 oz. and the shellcracker went 11oz. Just learned how difficult it is to catch a 1 pounder, lookin back, i dont think i have ever caught a 1 pounder.
