Hard to believe we had single digit temps. just a few days ago. The little painted turtle was sure enjoying the weather today. #10 teardrop ice spoon and 1" Gulp minnows, both under a float. Thanks for lookin!Name: DSC01591.jpg

Nice old combo. Awesome Scenery. Glad you combined the two with some fish. All the elements of a great day. Thanks for sharing

Good going Moon. You got into them for sure. Now to hope we don't get any bad snow storms, that linger, and keep you away from your fishing spots.

Ah, moon, you’re in inspiration! That piece of water looks just about the color of my home creek/stream. Today is starting to clear out and we’re looking at 75(!) tomorrow! I can go with a small spoon under an EZ Float or some soft baits. Did you keep the movement on the spoon low? I need the float to prevent hang ups on the alway rocky bottom. Otherwise the spoon is a goner.

    Bob,
I call them spoons, however, they really are tiny teardrop ice jigs. Yes, hits came when floats were not moving.
