I used to get my fingers cut up real bad years ago chasing striped bass and pier fishing with braids.
Two pound does the trick for me. Right now I am using Gamma which tests about 4+ something which is certainly strong enough for my usual water. JDM 3 lb is about perfect and I have used that. I’m going to buy more of that this year, hi viz.
