    Default Tried the Gulp Minnow

After reading here that it works better in cold weather, I bought a can of 1" the other day.

It sat in my truck a bit forgotten, but I grabbed it after work today.

Only have about 30 - 45 min before dark, but I headed to the spillover between the two ponds. For some reason the gills have been more active there than anywhere else lately.

Caught a gill on the trout magnet, then tried the Gulp. Started small, but got three LMB all of which were just a few feet off of shore.

Ended up with three LMB and nine gills.

Not a bad way to end the day.

I've got some but can't remember to try them. Maybe today. Congratulations on your catch.

If you leave them on the hook they will dry up just like real minnows

Real nice way to end the day. The colors on some of those pans are very nice.
