Thread: Where are those gills?

Shallow, mid-depth or deep? Fishing from the bank you kind of just have to test the waters, so to speak. The last two days I found them shallow with a popper, mid-depth with a #1 spinner with a split tail grub trailer and deep with a panfish stinger on a drop shot set up. Fished both days midday for a couple of hours. Yesterday, very hot/humid around 90. You can't believe how good that ice cold bottle of water back at the truck was. Today, got in about 2 hours before a line of bad T storms rolled in. Back in about a mile and got caught halfway out. Sat it out for about a hour before I was able to make it the rest of the way. Haven't been that waterlogged in quite a while. Dry change of clothes at home-what a good feeling. Connecting with a nice fish here and there only lately. Kind of missing those easy spawning fish about now. First 3 pics on the popper, next 3 on the spinner/trailer and last 2 on the dropshot. Thanks for lookin!
