I recently picked up the St. Croix Panfish Series rod and I've gotta say that I'm very impressed with it for a $100 rod. On this day it was only my second time using it and it casted these light jigs well and was a pleasure to fish with. The fish themselves seemed to love the Eurotackle Anisoptera. I posted about this lure before and it has quickly become my favorite for larger sized panfish. Little 4-6 inch bluegill are going to have a hard time eating it, but those larger 8-9 inch ones can't resist it. That doesn't even mention how much these cichlids and largemouths down here love it. Highly recommend you guys give it a shot if you haven't already. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video.
