Glad you enjoyed the pics. The two lakes those fish came from have not been managed for at least 50 yrs. and produce some very nice fish. Unfortunately, the land is currently being developed, and I hope to get a few more years of enjoyment from them.
Moonrunner, in reference to your second lake, would you kindly share how you tied the popper in which you caught some brute bluegills with? For the life me i can't cast any useable distance without adding some sort of split shots....Thanks in advance. Awesome catches as always!

Strike indicators are 1" and very hard foam which gives them weight for distance. Float is 2" and good for longer distance. Another good trip to the pond. Always good to try different times. I’m guessing that the popper was behind a float of sorts? I’m kinda stuck in the way I fish when I only have a short time. Good variety where you go, never know who’s next.
As always, Thanks for the tip, MR. The Trout Magnet EZ Float in the trout size would be perfect and pretty much is a copy of your strike indicator. They work very well over a small jig and are inexpensive.
