The morning started off interesting with a couple of turkey running around the parking lot at my favorite crappie lake, but lake is on the rise with the recent rains and couldn't find any willing to cooperate. I met cc member headhunter and suggested we try another lake to avoid the skunk and managed a few bass, gills and one fat redear that measured 9 1/4". Went back yesterday and caught more bass, bluegill and a couple of smaller redear. Got my second Moderna shot yesterday, should have gotten the shot in the non casting arm because it's really sore now so probably won't be fishing for a couple days.
