Nice job on that handle. Most likely is a more permanent finish since oil based. The U-40 is a water base product. I have used Tru-oil in the past on some oil finished gunstocks. Thanks for the info.

Congrats on a fine trip. Awesome rod reel combo. Loved the pics.

You are correct. They are a bluegill/green sunfish cross. There are other ponds in this area where I have caught the green sunfish, but this particular beaver dam I have just caught hybrids. Nice lookers and fun to catch! Thanks.Quote:
