I just did that with the Mocro Series I ordered from them and was suprised when they contacted me within a few days that 1 rod had come in. Of course this may have just been a fluke (of the non fish variety ;-) ) but it's worth a shot.
I don't know why they only received 1 rod in when they did, and was concerned that it may have been returned for some reason as I've never delt with them before, but the rod is new and appears just fine.
Dang it! I found a micro, but it was $30 with $12 shipping. $42 is pretty incredible for a nice set up, but the shipping irritated me. I figured for eight dollars more I could have a better rig with the ugly stick. Wish I had seen your reply first. Sounds like I will be sending the ugly stick back and coughing up $12. Good life lesson
Is this what I need? There are like 400 versions. Is it ultra light extra fast action?
Shakespeare Mirco Series 7' Spinning Combo
I would get the UL. It's rated for 2-6# line. The light is rated for 4-10#.
