Ya Never Know

Pulled out a few bluegill this evening. Was throwing near the bank and a couple blow-downs with a float.







Once again the float went down. Upon reeling up, this fish felt heavy. I still thought it was a gill since there is a good bit of grass and other sludge in the area, and I've had gills dive into that stuff. But in a few seconds I began to realize, "This ain't no gill!"



After a nice several minute on the ultralight, a big 4+ pound bass was hauled in. Kinda put a nice cap on the evening.
