Thank you! I am spending the day riding then fishing. I have put a nice new leader on, boy am I glad nobody is going with me, this could get, well intereseting. Learning new things is always fun and you have all given great tips, much better than trial and error. And my wonderful brother gave me (lent?) another reel, with floating line. Oh goody!! Not coming home till I hear thunder.
I snuck down to the pond every chance I got. I really like the feel of the sinking line, especially when something like these hit. I think I have converted a my neighbor and his son, they were fishing with worms and bobbers, and I hooked a bream right next to a bobber. They had heard another neighbor telling me how wrong I was doing everything, and caught 3 fish while he was telling me all this. The son, who was 7 or 8 said he wanted to do wrong just like me. I hope he just means fishing. anyway here are a couple of pics. A few very purple bream. Not really monsters, but on a light flyrod in a kayak, it was FUN!
Oh I used several 'flys' ened up with a white popper on the sinking line, or a white cricket. they just smacked it. Probably not at all correct, but tell the fish that.
The fish's opinion is the only one that matters. Nice catch!Quote:
