Target fish: crappie to start, with no luck. Ended up getting some sweet gills.
Tackle: 5 1/2' med. spinning rod and reel w/ 6# mono.
Jigs: 1/64 oz. Hairjig and 1/32 oz. jighead w/ribbed triple tail grub

Started out all anchored up and only ended up getting a few with the little 1/64 oz and bobber system.
But, here are a few.

And then with a different color.

Then I had to go on the move, pull anchor and work up the bank and I started throwing the ribbed tripletail grub, covering water. And the gills would just inhaul the bait all the way up to the jighead. The grubs are 2"ers.

And look at this thick bull.

So for not getting any crappie today, I turned it around and got some killer gills.
All fish were C&R'd and a few ended up with CPR, hehe.
